We are pleased to announce that starting from January 2024, Columbus Logistics is supporting the “Città Giardino Insieme” project. This is an ESG-certified initiative aimed at enhancing communities through the redevelopment and maintenance of squares, gardens, and parks. Specifically, Columbus is supporting the project, ensuring the care and maintenance of the greenery in the famous Piazza della Scala in Milan.

In this square, through the “Città Giardino Insieme” project, 5400 Heuchera, 40 Rose “Susan Daniel”, 20 Taxus Spheres, and 768 Carex Gold Band plants were planted during 2023, for an overall management of 275 square meters of greenery.

Speaking of ESG elements, this project, in addition to its undeniable environmental value, has a crucial social impact as well. The daily maintenance of the square has been entrusted to the Social Cooperative Opera in Fiore, which is committed to the reintegration of disadvantaged individuals, providing them with employment, a salary, and accompanying them through a training path.
